What is the privacy policy for Sedo App?
Your data is not our business. We believe you should trust business models, so we can be clear that our business is software subscriptions. Sedo is build to be safe, secure, and entirely private for you.
We have a human-readable privacy policy and a legal one. The legal writing is the one in effect, but we've provided this explainer as an overview to help if you have questions.
End User License Agreement
To keep things simple for you, we use Apple's standard EULA for Sedo App. You can read it here.
Human Readable Privacy Policy
What does Sedo collect my data for?
We never collect your user data from the app. Nothing that is personally identifiable about your location, items, addresses, or anything like that ever leaves your device.
We do collect data in a few other categories. First, we automatically collect anonymized usage data which can never be linked back to you. Second, we may ask you for your email, which we will never keep without asking you twice, and you always have the option to remove from our system. Third, we may also receive other data, in the ways that we describe below under “Sedo Privacy Policy.”
How does Sedo handle usage data?
Usage data is strictly controlled by Apple and we agree with their perspective that none of this data should ever be able to be linked back to users. This category of data is important for us, though, because it helps us build a better product. For example: if we see very few users have used custom fields, it's a sign for us to conduct more user research on why that feature isn't being used and if it's providing any value! We use a third party to help us aggregate and understand this data but, again, none of that information ever contains either your personal information or anything personally identifiable.
We are unable to delete this data because, even if you reached out to ask us to, we wouldn’t be able to identify which usage data corresponded to your account. We’re always happy to answer more questions at team@fourbytwo.com.
What does Sedo App use my email for?
We only use your email when you've asked us to. (And asked us twice, actually — we always use double opt-in.) For any features in the app where there are email reminders, we’ll ask you if you’d like to provide an email or not. We also have an email list on our website. You can unsubscribe at any time from those emails by using a link in the bottom of the email or emailing us at team@fourbytwo.com.

You may, however, be able to disable certain tracking signals used by individual Third-Party Services, which you may do by accessing those services.
