Why isn’t there a save button in Sedo App?

Your data is the heart of Sedo. During our research phase we heard all about how losing data causes massive headaches during moves. Some people misplaced physical lists, others had computer troubles and lost their data. We think we’ve fixed this for you.

Automatic Backups

Everything you put into Sedo is automatically backed up to your iCloud account. If you lose your device, or need to restore it for any reason, just download a fresh copy of the app and your data will be right there. This all happens automatically thanks to Apple’s infrastructure — you don’t need to worry about it at all.

Automatic Saving

You’ll notice that you don’t see a “save” button anywhere in Sedo. That’s because we are constantly saving your data. Life happens — doorbells ring, dogs bark, someone calls. The last thing you want to do is worry about if you hit the save button or not. So we automated it! One less thing to worry about.

Item History

Each item record also provides you a history of the edits made to that item. Maybe you changed your mind on a category, or maybe you have two people working on the project and you’re wondering who changed what. The full edit history is available to you right away.

Removing Records

The final thing you’ll notice is there’s no “delete” button anywhere. That’s because you never truly delete anything. Any object you go through the “remove” process on can be restored at any time, whether it’s an item, a custom field, a person, or more. Feel free to keep your project organized without worrying about losing data you can’t get back.
